These are new, hectic, and beautiful times to capture new parents and siblings getting to know the new family member.


Due to the limited timeline, these sessions are typically scheduled ahead of time, sometimes months in advance to delivery. This allows for extended times to be blocked off for availability at a moments notice.

What to Expect:

  • Wardrobe and Styling: Guidance on outfits that highlight your baby bump, with options for flowing dresses, form-fitting gowns, and delicate fabrics.
  • Involving Loved Ones: Including your partner, children, or pets to create meaningful family portraits.


Maternity sessions  can also include pending adoptions or surrogacy.

Birth

Photographer Present During Delivery


Our birth photography sessions are designed to document the incredible journey of bringing a new life into the world. With sensitivity and care, we capture the raw emotions, tender moments, and powerful connections that unfold during this sacred time.


What to Expect:

On-call Availability: Flexible scheduling around your estimated due date to ensure we are ready to join you at the right moment.

Respect and Sensitivity: Working closely with your birth plan and healthcare team to respect your wishes and boundaries.

Authentic Storytelling: Capturing the entire birthing process, from early labor to the first moments after birth.


If planning on delivering at a hospital or birth center please confirm they allow photographers to be present.

Photographer Comes to Location Within 48 hours of Delivery


Fresh 48 sessions capture the precious, fleeting moments within the first 48 hours after your baby is born. These sessions take place in the hospital or at home, preserving the early bonding moments and the fresh, new beginnings of your family.


What to Expect:

  • Natural and Candid Photography: Focused on capturing the real and raw beauty of the first days, without elaborate setups or props.
  • Key Moments: Including first family photos, baby’s first yawns and stretches, interactions with siblings and grandparents, and first feedings.
  • Relaxed Environment: Creating a gentle and supportive atmosphere to ensure you feel comfortable and relaxed.


If session is to take place at a hospital or birth center please confirm they allow photographers.

Newborn

Photographer Comes to Client Home Within 7-21 Days After Delivery

Our newborn photography sessions are designed to capture the innocence, beauty, and sweetness of your new baby. These timeless portraits will become cherished keepsakes that you and your family will treasure forever.


Typically sessions last around 3-4 hours. These sessions are done in the client home to ensure the new parents and baby have everything they need in hands reach.


What to Expect:

  • Ideal Timing: Sessions are best scheduled within the first two weeks of life when babies are still very sleepy and easily posed. Any time after this may limit the amount of "typical" newborn images.
  • Comfort and Safety: Using gentle posing techniques and soft, cozy props to ensure your baby’s comfort and safety.
  • Props and Accessories: Offering a variety of props, blankets, wraps, and outfits to create a variety of looks and styles. Clients are welcome to provide anything they wish as long as its safe for baby
  • Family Involvement: Including parents and siblings to create beautiful family portraits.
